Book a table to dine with us

If we don’t have availability at The Tap for the day/time you would like, check out our sister pub The Wellesley Arms for their availability: see that their guests are saying: https://dishcult.com/restaurant/thewellesleyarms .

We’re a small busy village pub where every seat counts! Owing to the number of no shows and reduction in numbers from the original booking we have regrettably needed to introduce a cancellation/reduction in numbers policy.

If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please call/email us to check that we have received your booking.

  • When booking a table with us, please ensure that you have fully read our T’&Cs for our cancellation policy provided when you book. By not showing or failing to give 24 hours notice of a cancellation a charge of £10 per person will be made. Tables of 10+ will require a non-refundable deposit to be paid at time of booking.

  • With early sittings during busy periods, we may require your table back after 2 hours. For bookings after 1pm lunchtimes and 7pm evenings, you will have your table for the remainder of service.

  • If you would like to book a table for a larger group, please email us directly at enquiries@langleytap.co.uk. Tables of 8+ require a pre-order. Our sister pub The Wellesley Arms caters for larger groups (up to 90). Group bookings will be held for up to 15 minutes - please advise us as soon as possible if some in your group are running late, which may lead to a delay in you being served at busy times.

  • Tables of 7 or more have a 10% service charge added to the bill, 100% of which goes to the team who worked on that day. Otherwise, gratuity is at your own discretion.

  • Children are welcome. We ask that children are supervised at all times. In the event of a child becoming distressed or upset, we respectfully ask that they are taken out of the dining room until they have calmed.

  • Friendly dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub. We ask that they are kept under control at all times, and that their owner clears up after them. In the event of a dog being a little vocal we ask that the owners are respectful of other guests and exit the pub until the dog/s have settled down.

  • Please don’t take offence if you’re asked to keep the noise down a little if your children, dog/s, or party are causing a nuisance to other diners.

  • We use tables in the bar and dining rooms on Sundays. Please advise us in booking notes if you have a preference, where we will do our best to accomodate.

  • Tables booked via our reservation page are for diners - Please note, we don’t reserve tables for drinking. Side dishes are only available when accompanied with a starter or main dish, while sitting in the dining rooms.

  • Only food and drink purchased from the premises may be eaten at the venue.

  • Please be respectful of our neighbours, when parking in the village. Please do not park on the pavement, or in front of neighbours drive ways.

We look forward to welcoming you.
